What a way to prepare myself for what December will bring!
For quite a few weeks now, all the Christmas-y movies have been showing up on my Netflix feed, and this book is like a sibling of those holiday romances.
A Real Royal Christ-mess is a fun romantic comedy revolving around a winter getaway fm in a ski resort where two people get a snowy meet-cute.
Our female lead is a normal “boring”girl, who wants to prove her office crush wrong. In a company party, her best friend won tickets to a ski resort in Vermont, so she is using this opportunity to prove how spontaneous and adventurous she can be.
Here she meets a Brit guy called Jamie/Jamison. Little did she know that this hottie is actually a prince in hiding before he explores his new responsibilities.
All in all this book was really cute. It delivered the fun and cliches you get in almost all holiday themed movies. The characters are funny and their adventures are quite whimsical. But it did work into bringing me into the cheerful and hopeful mood.
