Hey, (mood) readers!
I missed you, guys, but yesterday was a busy one for me, so I was not able to make this post right away.
Anyway, let’s get it on with this wrap-up.
September was not really a great reading month for me and I only had time to read 7 books. I am not sure if the same would happen in October, but I would really really wish to raise my number to 10, at least.
Here’s a quick rundown of the books I have read in September 2019:
1. Our Chemical Hearts by Krystal Sutherland
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ /5 – Read my review here.
2. How to Cross A Marquess by Jane Ashford

3. Becoming Beatriz by Tami Charles

4. With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo

5. No Judgments by Meg Cabot

6. The Female of the Species by Mindy McGinnis

Favorite Book of the Month
My top read of the month is a tie between With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo and Our Chemical Hearts by Krystal Sutherland.
Music: Louis Tomlinson
I’m going to a share a bit on something non-bookish. This time, it’s music. This is a little bias because I am so in love with him, and have been since 2012, but he has recently debuted 5 songs when he performed in Mexico, and these are my top three favorites. By the way, these songs are technically unreleased so there is no official audio yet. But here are the lyrics that I loved.
1. Habit – Listen to it here.
“You’re the habit that I can’t break / You’re the feeling I can’t put down / You’re the shiver that I can’t shake / You’re the habit that I can’t break”
“But it’s been ages, different stages / Come so far from Princess Park / I’ll always need you / In front of me”
2. Don’t Let It Break Your Heart – Listen to it here.
“Don’t you let it kill you / Even when it hurts like hell / Oh. whatever tears you apart / Don’t let it break your heart / Time takes time to heal it / You can do it by yourself / Oh, whatever tears you apart / Don’t let it break your heart”
3. Defenceless – Listen to it here.
“I come runnin’ to you / Like a moth into flame / You tell me “Take it easy” / But it’s easier to say / Wish I didn’t need so much of you / I hate to say, but I do”
“You don’t have to keep on being strong / For me and you / Acting like you feel no pain / You know I know you do”
