My rating: 4 of 5 stars
“One of the worst parts about someone dying is thinking back to all those times you didn’t ask the right questions, all those times you stupidly assumed you’d have all the time in the world. And this too: how all that time feels like not much time at all.”

Disclaimer: I read this as an audio, with longer time frames in between. I have forgotten to continue this when I started my job.
Tell Me Three Things was a great YA read, in a way that it has represented the way most YAs actually think – well, me, at least, at that age. It is one of those told through IM stories with secret online identities. The guessing part was so fun! I told myself not to sneak and read other reviews so I won’t spoil myself.
I’d like to comment Jorjeana Marie for the narration. She did a great job doing many voices to distinguish the different characters. At first, it was hard to separate her from her narration in Holding Up the Universe, but I still enjoyed.
Starting this, I was frustrated with how whiney Jessie sounded, how she prejudged LA, as in the city and its entirety, which I think is unfair. I disliked how there was a need to put girls against girls, and to wallow in so much hate. Later on, I chose to forgive her and maybe just blame the grief.
I loved the mystery of possible SNs, and focusing on the main three boys. Caleb, Liam and Ethan all had great traits and were very dreamy. It made the heavy book parts a little lighter. I was so happy when I found out my best bet for SN was true. He is perfect for Jessie, weirdos unite!
What made the book special was the author’s note at the end. Getting her insight and inspiration for writing this made everything seem even more special.
All in all, a fun enjoyable read.
