“..But if I had to describe the feeling of a crush, I’d say this: you just finished running a mile, and you have to throw up, and you’re starving, but no food seems appealing, and your brain becomes fog, and you also have to pee. It’s this close to intolerable. But I like it.

More than like it. I crave it.”

I can’t believe I put off reading this one for soooo long.

I think this is my fave Becky book so far. 😍 Maybe because I felt so much like the main character, Molly. As a plus size woman, we are often represented as the sidekick or a friend. So forgive me if this certain book theme tends to be a bias for me.

I highlighted so many quotes from this book in my e-reader. That’s how crazy I was for Molly.

I loved how many teenage topics were discussed here. And how everyone should take their own pace because we are not in a race against each other.

I love the tiny love triangle. And I definitely, definitely love the end game. I was really rooting for them, so yaaaay, for my ship. 💕

I fell in love with this book’s end game so
much that I want to read maybe ten more books about them. Heh. 😂

I also loved seeing glimpses of Simon and Abby. It felt like meeting old friends.

Overall, this was a great fun read. I wish all books are as feel good as this one.

More quotes~~

There’s this feeling I get when I watch people kiss. I become a different form of matter. Like they’re water, and I’m an ice cube. Like I’m the most alone person in the entire world.

x

Except . . . sometimes I feel like I’m the last alone person. Like maybe there aren’t seven and a half billion people in the world. Maybe there are seven and a half billion and one.
I’m the one.

x

Even hearing the word Netflix has a way of centering me. Netflix means not having to suck in your stomach or think of anything smart or adorable to say. It means a whole night of not wondering what people think about you. No alcohol, and no flirtation, and no confusion, and every organ calm and settled. Perfect.
