The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow, okay.
I have seen this book floating around my GR feed for a couple of months now, and I was so hesitant to pick up something everybody else loved. My initial action was to pick up another book from TJR which was Forever Interrupted. I enjoyed that a lot but forgot about this in my TBR.
Canvassing my shelf made me finally, finally pick this one up, and boy, it was an excellent decision.
This book is one hell of an adventure.
I loved this book soooo much. The way it was written was so captivating. I was hooked. The way Evelyn narrated her story was full of twists and turns– so many, that I find myself surprised for a whole lot of this book.
I think words are not enough to really explain how great this one is. You will only know when you read it yourself.
Monique, too, is a great character. I felt her reactions the same as how mine was a few times, while going through this book.
And the plot twist at the end? The ultimate connection that was the question at the beginning? The reveal blew me away. Not what I was expecting. But a unique resolution to the book.
I am again amazed at the writing of TJR. Will definitely read her other books!
