“Things happen in your life that you can’t possibly imagine. But time goes on and time changes you and the times change and the next thing you know, you’re smack in the middle of a life you never saw coming.”
Hello to my first Taylor Jenkins Reid book! This author is someone whose name and written works pop throughout my GR feed. Curious little me checked out her works and picked this one first.
What a surprise. And what an emotional ride this one was. As one who hates reading blurbs, imagine my surprise and my pain after reading the first part of this story. Wow. I actually picked one huge heartache to read.
I have to commend TJR. The emotions I felt were so real, and I deeply symphatized with Elsie. The story unfolded in ways I was not sure of, but was all pleasantly satisfying. The suspense of what is yet to come is there. I am very impressed and would like to read the rest of her works. 🙂
