My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Review originally published on Goodreads – Nov. 5, 2018. Is it weird that I actually had no idea what this book was about when I picked it up?

The duo Christina Lauren is an automatic read for me so I went and dived in to read this one just because they are the authors and the book cover is cute.

I thank my lucky stars for this random pick, because wow, this book is so damn good. It deserves all the stars!

Insta-love aside, I loved everything I read. This book was unputdownable. Last night, I was fighting so hard to read this that I stayed up til 3AM. It was so good. I was definitely addicted.

It tackles LGBT+ themes. It tackles religion. It tackles the family dynamic. I’m sure a large number of people can relate to this and I hope this book will serve as their friend.

For many times, I found myself crying because of the pain of our two boys and because of how I was touched by their story. Other times I was smiling and laughing and feeling so much.

Christina & Lauren did amazingly. Cheers! 🙂
